BUILDING NUMBER SENSE!!!

The foundation must be laid and hands on activities give the students the opportunity to build their number sense.

Roll the number cube and stack that many blocks.  The shelf liner really keeps the noise level down.

Anytime I can use technology I do.  The students love it!  Sheppard's Software has some amazing games for numeracy.

I am using the domino cards from the previous 2 weeks (http://thecontrolledchaosclassroom.blogspot.com/2013/09/math-stations-for-numeracy.html)

 and letting the students use paper clips to represent the number. 

 This station will continue for a while.  The students enjoy playing with the Play Dough and my cards go up to 20! Love this one!
