Math Stations for the Week

Station 1 - Smart Board - Number Bingo Students hear a number and recognize it to make BINGO Numbers are chosen based on students needs. 



 Station 2 - 20 frame 'War" - Each student flips over their card and see whose card is greater. The student with the greater card win. 

Blake's partner was absent so Mrs. Amos was his partner 😊

Station 3 - Playdough Mats- Students use playdough to fill in the twenty frame, representing their number. 



Station 4 - Overhead Crossout - Students roll the 10 sided dice and cross it out on the overhead. 



Station 5 - Counting Sets - Students count sets and write the number. 


Station 6 - Fill in - Students fill in the missing numbers for 0-20, 0-50, 0-100 



Station 7 - Matching- Students match number word, even or odd, ten frame, set, tally marks, hands, and dot cube 



Station 8 - iPads - Students use Find Sum app to either fillin a 5, 10, or 20 frame

Literacy Stations

Station 1- smart board sight words 
I went to ikea this weekend and bought step stools so they could reach.  I was way more excited about them than they were. 😊

Station 2- multiple meaning words 



Station 3- iPads
I bought 2 new apps
Montessori Phonics Kindergarten 
Montessori Phonics 1st grade 


Station 4- Writing books 
I love flipping through these and seeing how much they have grown in their writing. 

Station 5- making words
These contain simple CVC words (ex: cat) and harder words with blends at the beginning or the end (ex: stop/lamp)


Station 6: 
Identifying initial, medial, and final sounds /reading CVC words

Compass 

Station 8 
Antonyms

Math stations

Station 1- iPads

Station 2- Place Value
Students toss the Pom Pom and then build the number it landed on with rods and singles




Station 3- Dice Addition
Students roll dice and answer the addition equation.  
They may use 2 dot cubes, 2 number 
Dice, or  combination of the 2. 


Station 4- making 10
This is a twist in memory.  Students must then over 2 cards that make 10


Station 5- Addition 
Students roll 2 dot cubes and answer the addition equation 



Station 6- breaking 10
Student holds the 10 linking cubes behind their back and beaks some off.  

They then hold what's left in front of them. 


The other student must state how many  cubes are hidden behind the other students back. 



Station 7- 10 frame strategy
Students use the ten frame to solve the equation. 





Station 8- computer

MATH STATIONS!

I had to lower my number of stations this week. With everything going on 10 was a lot to get in. I went down to 8 and we will only be doing them Monday - Thursday.
 
Station 1  - Comparing numbers 
Using 10 sided dice the students roll and the use the moveable rectangles to create a greater than, less than, or equal to sign. 





 Station 2 -Building numbers 
Using two - three 10 sided dice with dots the student determines how many dots there are all of ether and then builds the number using rods and singles. 





 Station 3 - representing teen numbers
