Thankfulness

Today we read Most Thankful Thing . I love this story. The child ask her mom what she is most thankful. The mom tells her to guess. She names all these wonderful things but doesn't guess correctly. Of course the mother's most thankful thing is her child.

After reading this we charted ~ I am thankful for... Each child received a piece of paper and wrote what they were most thankful for.

They then chose a "feather" and their writing will be part of our Thankful Kindergarten Turkey display.

                         (Sweet)

                      (Precious)

We also illustrated something/someone  we were thankful for in our poetry journals.
