Valentine's Day

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day.  We had a great time celebrating in our room. First we made owls for you that said "Guess who loves you?".  Each child chose their color, traced their patterns, cut it out, and assembled their owl. (We used a circle cutter for the eyes and heart cutter for the feet). I hope you loved them!

Do not judge the illustration on the smart board :).

Then we passed out valentines.  Whew!  This was controlled chaos.

Then we sorted conversation hearts by the attribute of color and graphed them. We made observations about which was the greatest, fewer, if any were equal, etc (see standards can be fun) 😊

Next was our special snack.

Lastly, the Harlem Wizards came and promoted our game. They were amazing. If you didn't get to come and see the game you should defiantly do it next time. It was a lot of fun!
