Media Center, Guidance, and Zero the Hero

We went to guidance today !  Mrs. Pendley taught us about being good listeners.  Brennan, Jemal, Lizzy, and Lauren won the green tickets today. 

Then we went to the Media Center since we are out of school tomorrow. Mrs. Robertson read to us and we checked out our library books for the week. 

Today is day 60 ands Zero the Hero came to visit!

Zero the  Hero came to visit today and brought us Fudge Stripe Cookies! Today is the 50th day of school! 

Monday and Tuesday Math

We are working our way through the single digits!  We worked on 6. They are really getting the hang of it and using their math vocabulary!!!

We also learned how to represent 7!

Zero the Hero came and brought us Apple Jacks!!!!

Fantastic Friday!

Zero the Hero strikes again!!! 

I love that he brought peach rings!  Yummy!!!

We made our G craft for the week.  A guitar!!!

We fed sound muncher our Objects that start with the /G/ sound!!! 

We had golf balls, gorillas, goats, goldfish, grass and lots of things that are green just to name a few! 

We read Chrysanthemum yesterday and continued our name activities today. We have made rockets with our names and designed tshirts and wrote our name on the "buttons"! 

Poetry Journals, Zero the Hero, and Graphing

We have had so much fun learning about the letter L.  

We made a ladybug out of the letter L

We used our poetry notebook and illustrated a poem about ladybugs. 

We tried 4 flavors of Laffy Taffy's and then chose out favorite and we made observations about our graph.  

Also, in our poetry journals we illustrated our red song. 

ZERO THE HERO came to visit!!! He brought us donuts (shaped like the number zero) and turned our 10 singles into a rod in our place value chart!
