100th Day

We had a delist 100th Day trail mix snack. Thank you all for your donations.
Mrs Amos and I handed out each treat and we mixed it together for an amazing trail mix.  Sometimes we would only give 2 pieces and they would say "I only have 2, I need 8 more!". I love that they are making 10 so fast and using it correctly! We would sometimes give more too. For example, I would give someone 12 and they would say " You have me too many. I only needed 10" and then they would hand me back 2. When I asked how they knew they needed to give me 2 back they would say "because 12 is 10 and 2 more" 😊😊😊👏🏻👏🏻

100th Day

On the 100th Day, we wondered what we would like like if we were 100...

These make me giggle!

Martin Luther King Jr

We enjoyed learning about Martin Luther King Jr.!
There favorite fact was that he used his words, not his fist or guns.

3D Shape Snack

What is the best way to remember the names of 3D shapes? Eat them!  We ate CocoPuffs cereal (spheres), mini marshmallows (cylinders), Bugels (cones), and cheese cubes (cubes).
We sorted them and the had to name the shape and an attribute (what it looks like) before we could eat!

Shape Rotations

We loved our shape rotations.

We made 3D shapes out of marshmallows and toothpicks and/or pipe cleaners.

Created shapes using geo boards and rubber bands.

Composed 2 or more shapes to make a different shape.

And used 3D shapes to build structures.

2D Shape Snack

Today we did our 2D shape sort. We had graham crackers, Ritz, Cheezits, Doritos, and the winter wheat thins (they are shaped like hexagons). We had so much fun...and it was delicious!
